Robe a la francaise muslin

(Dammit dA, can't I do proper accents in the title??)
My rather terrible basic attempt at a mock up of a robe à la française , more playing with the draping than anything. The biggest problem is that I'm using fabric of a much narrower width than is required for this; the other problem is, of course, that I don't know what I'm doing, but it was fun anyway. This is about all the work I'm going to do on this for now. If I ever start on an 18th century wardrobe I'll be doing en fourreau backs and whatnot before another française.
