Oh look this took all of two hours. Excellent.
18th century petticoat mockup, draped by me (you really don't need a pattern for these), bound with bias tape and tied with ribbon, over my panniers and stays. On to a robe à la française, or a sack-back caraco, I haven't decided yet.
The hem circumference is only about 102", by the by; if I ever make this in fashion fabric I'll do a lot more than that, I reckon (if I can afford it
).
